I'm not sure if you caught my presentation a few weeks ago, but in it, I covered all the top image rules sellers are breaking without any consequences.

I decided to list them here since I got such a positive response to the presentation.

Basically, Amazon has posted image rules but rarely enforces them. It's your job to learn these and leverage the opportunity. Yes, I'm encouraging you to be a little naughty this Christmas season.

Oooof, that's a wrap! Please don't get mad at me for telling you to break some rules. I would counter and remind you that it is YOUR JOB to learn the Amazon system. If you are playing by TOS rules 100% of the time, you are LOSING.

I can attest to this since I have sold north of $10 million on Amazon over the years. And now, my clients sell more than $100 million and are growing.

Guess what? Lots of image rules were broken along the way. I have broken every single one of the rules mentioned here outside of the awards since I never had those. But, do you think I would resist the urge to showcase an award on my hero image? Absolutely NOT!

Oooohhhhhh, I have wanted to see this fixed for years, and now we do! Historically, your only option was "vacation mode" which removed all visibility of your listings and crushed your rankings. No more! This is obviously for you FBM sellers only.

The United States Congress just sent a letter to Amazon demanding them to add labels to every listing showing where the product was made.

And there's more. Congress is also demanding that Amazon create a user-friendly, filterable search tool to allow customers to ONLY view products made in the USA.

The same Congressional committee also sent the same letter to the FTC to apply pressure to other platforms like Walmart.

I can actually see this happening. My only hope is that they go a step further and ask Amazon to also add a label for where the 3P seller is located. I know I'm dreaming, but who knows? Crazier things have happened.
