πŸš€ A Guaranteed Way to Boost Your CTR

❌ Kick Negative Amazon Reviews to the Curb

Look, I've been there. The reality is that you can make your product as awesome as you can but prickly Amazon customers still exist.

They come in all forms. Downright liars. Complaints about safety. Complaints about the shipping box. Venting for the sake of venting. These are the annoying 1%.

Thankfully, EcomTriage is one such service that is trying to combat this cancer on Amazon.

Instead of living with these reviews, EcomTriage has a proven strategy to remove your negative reviews with up to a 15% success rate! The best part is that you only pay them when the review is removed. At a low rate of $200/review removed, this is worth its weight in gold since your star rating directly impacts your search rank on Amazon.

Zero onboarding fees. Zero risk for you.

Get in contact with them to start removing your negative reviews today!

πŸš€ This Week's Amazon Hack: Two Visual Hacks That Work

When I'm consulting new Amazon brands, I've noticed a pattern. The pattern is a complete neglect of things that impact eyeballs.

By that, I mean that brands neglect the stuff that makes people CLICK.

Having an epic product is not good enough. You need to be willing to play in the "gray" when it comes to Amazon.

The first visual hack is doing something that is for visual purposes only. I'll use Gorilla Grip's can opener for today's example.

Will your customer actually get a color swatch tag when it arrives? Nope! This is something that tricks Amazon's AI and passes right on by because of how it's formatted.

Notice how good the photoshop is. It not only looks real but those are very accurate color choices that trigger two things in the minds of customers:

1- Psychologically, it implies that you are a dominant player in the space. More colors translate to more trust. It's science.

2- It induces a CTR boost, gets the customers to explore more colors, and increases the chance of checkout.

Now, look closer. What do you notice?

Yup, you see it, don't you? Gorilla Grip uses color swatches instead of the actual can opener.

Why?

Customers respond faster and more efficiently to these over a tiny image of your product. The color swatch boosts your CTR and drives sales higher. It's really that simple.

Uploading these via a simple flat file is a piece of cake too.

I hope you found these two image hacks helpful today! I have yet to meet a brand that does this and regrets it. It's that effective.

One last thing. STOP being so paranoid. I know that some of you will read this and automatically get worried that it's breaking the rules. Amazon has yet to punish a single seller for doing this. Also, this isn't exactly the same as buying fake reviews so I would breathe easy. Also, I would do this myself. And I only recommend things I would use myself.

πŸ”₯ Hot Amazon Seller News: Prime Day is Now 4 Days

Yes, your eyes did not deceive you.

This means more eyeballs on your brands, more sales, and WAY more pressure on YOU to get your deals figured out today. Before you go bananas, I want you to use deals strategically and not just throw the kitchen sink at it.

πŸ“… The Important Dates:

-Submit your Best Deals and Lightning Deals by May 23.
-Price Discounts submission window opens May 5 and closes 6 hours before the event starts.
-Make sure all your FBA inventory arrives by June 9 for minimal shipment splits or by June 18 for Amazon-optimized splits. DO NOT SKIP OVER THIS!

πŸ’‘ The Important Details:

-Prime Exclusive Best Deals: Minimum 15% off. These will be visible on Amazon's Deals page. It gets better. DO NOT SLEEP ON THESE.
-Prime Exclusive Lightning Deals: Minimum 20% off, lasting 12 hours.
-Prime Exclusive Price Discounts: Minimum 15% off, badges will show up on search and product pages.
-Prime Member Coupons: Minimum 5% off, automatically highlighted on event pages.
-This one is HUGE. Deals with 40%+ discounts will get exclusive access to premium placements on the event page, homepage, and merchandising slots.
-Read that again.

πŸ’ͺ Some bonus hacks:

-Planning starts now, not in June. Some of you have 4-month production timelines. Yes, I'm looking at you. It's time to lock this in and make sure your incoming FBA inventory is ready for the extended window.
-Forecast, forecast, forecast. Make sure you do a deep dive on last year's Prime Day data for your home run products. Adapt accordingly.
-Dial in your backup inventory needs. This would be your 3PL locations around the US where you store what I call "emergency inventory" to make sure you never go out of stock.
-DO NOT, I repeat, do not run any lightning deals 30 days before Prime Day. It will negatively affect your LD eligibility so you've been warned.

Here are a few napkin math examples:

A Best Deal that generates $10,000 in sales over 7 days would have cost you $300 before. Now? $770, a 156% increase.

Oof!

Coupon example: If your product is priced at $500, and you set a fixed coupon discount of $50 with a redemption limit of 200 times, your total sales would be $90,000. Under the original coupon policy, you would only need to pay a redemption fee of 200 * 0.6 = $120. But now, with the new coupon policy, you have to pay Amazon $5 + $90,000 * 2.5% = $2,255 in fees. $120 vs. $2,255.

Criminal!

I'm sorry for being a little long-winded, but you really need to know this information before it's too late.

This update changes everything. Adapt accordingly.
