πŸš€ This Week's Amazon Hack: Don't Be Taken Advantage Of

I might have just saved a client over $1,000,000.

He's an elite brand on Amazon doing insane volume and is in talks with a potential buyer for his business.

Mr. Buyer is a little greedy and is already asking for all sorts of financial reporting that shouldn't come until due diligence, where there is accountability.
​
This is easily one of the top mistakes I see brand owners make when exiting. Buyers make it their goal to poke as many holes in your business to lower the offer as much as possible.
​
Refuse to comply and simply tell the buyer that this data will be handled by the due diligence officer. It's as simple as that. Until that happens, keep all your answers as broad as you can.
​
This client is most likely going to exit for $7+ million, and he's a solo founder and operator.
​
But that's not the most important question he asked me on a recent call.
​
​"Do you think I will regret selling my business?"​
​
The moment I found out he has kids, I knew how to answer. I posed a question back to him.
​
"Do you know how rare it is to spend nearly 24/7 with your young kids in this culture? How special will that be? Now, do you really think you will regret selling? Of course not, bro!"

I'm super excited for this client of mine because I've helped him grow on Amazon, and now to help him exit for the highest multiple possible is exhilarating.
