🚨 Breaking Tariff News

I wanted to mention the huge tariff news because so many of you are affected by it.

There is so much information floating around, so I wanted to give you the most accurate info.

Last week, the Federal appeals court struck down most of the tariffs that Trump has imposed.

They are not dead yet! Many started celebrating or breathing a sigh of relief. They are in full effect until October 14.

Between now and then, there will be an emergency request that the Supreme Court overturn this ruling.

My prediction is that it will be overruled due to precedent at the executive level. If I were you, I would continue living as if the tariffs aren't going away.

🚀 This Week's Amazon Hack: Nano Banana s Making Waves

Image generation tools are abundant, and honestly, it has taken Google way too long to come up with something that works.

All that has changed with Nano Banana.

Nano Banana is Google's attempt to launch an AI image editing tool that makes pictures look less AI and more realistic. And it's freaking impressive.

As of today, this tool outperforms every single AI image tool on the market. Now it's starting to make sense why Google invested billions into building data centers. This has been in the works for years. I hate to admit it, but I kind of knew this day would come. I use Google for everything. I would be totally happy using Google for everything else outside of Amazon purchases.

How to access NanoBanana?

You can test it out inside Google products ONLY. Those include the Gemini app, Vertex AI, and Google AI Studio. I like using it right on my desktop via the Studio.

Use Cases

If I went through every one of these today, you would be 99 by the time you were done reading.

Two stand out.

1- Creating UGC content from your Amazon pictures.

For this example, I grabbed a picture from Birdman on Amazon and gave Nano the following prompt:

-Turn this photo into a UGC-style smartphone image

-Make it ultra realistic.

-Use Selfie angle.

-The background setting should be a gym.

-The user's arms should be muscular.

-Male.

Here's the end result:

It's insanely good! Now you can use this on your Shopify site, social media, or even on Amazon. The options are limitless. Look at that detail.

2- Creating lifestyle images on tap.

I had a little fun with this one and took a picture of this cool gold tank built out of old bullet casings. For this example, I gave Nano the following prompt:

-Place the tank on a table in a military-themed office.

-An entire side of the office should be glass windows overlooking a lake.

-Keep the product scale the same as the original picture.

🔥 Hot Amazon Seller News: Critical Inventory Deadlines!

How the heck is it almost Q4? I am so shook right now.

Amazon just published its inventory deadline dates, and there weren't any big surprises.
​
My advice is the same as last year.
​
1. Add an extra two-week buffer to these dates. Relying on Amazon's published dates is no different than gambling at a casino.
​
2. ALWAYS send in a mixture of LTL and SPD shipments for your home run listings. LTL gets backed up big time at this time of year. Do not risk your Q4 and send in all your stuff via LTL. Trust me on that. You will regret it.

​Big Deal Day Deadlines:​
➡️ August 29: AWD deadline.
➡️ September 10: FBA minimal shipments deadline.
➡️ September 19: FBA optimized shipments deadline.

​Black Friday/Cyber Monday Deadlines:​
➡️ October 9: AWD deadline.
➡️ October 20: FBA minimal shipments deadline.
➡️ October 30: FBA optimized shipments deadline.

As always, keep a portion of your inventory at a local 3PL just in case Amazon delays or loses some of your inventory. This is obviously not as important for your slow movers, but definitely do it for any of your home run products.

And trust me, I know from experience. Once, Amazon lost over $25,000 in inventory, and they never reimbursed me. Prepare for these situations now.
